  Agno Umbrella - If you love the game of hide-and-seek, just confine yourselves at Sabangan Beach under its huge boulders of umbrella rocks adorned with crawling plants. These rocks are like caves. Boy Scouts used to camp overnight under the umbrella rocks as part of their training.  
 

Region I Tourist Arrivals

Tourist arrivals in the first quarter 2008 totalled 135,243 wherein 87.84% (118,793) were domestic tourists, 11.97% (16,184) were foreign visitors and .20% (266) were Overseas Filipinos.

DOT, OCD Conduct Rescue Training For Lifeguards

A Water Safety & Rescue Training was heald in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte to insure immediate response in cases of drowning. Twenty eight attendees who were employees of resorts and the LGU were certified Lifeguards after a four day rigorous training with the concerted help of the Department of Tourism R1 and the Office of Civil Defense.
